AIGA DotGov Design Conference 2025
Graphic Design and Marketing:
The 2025 DotGov Design Conference, an initiative of AIGA DC, has long focused on supporting designers working with or inside government and civic tech initiatives. They’ve long been a creator of space for innovation and collaboration in the civic design community in the Washington D.C, Maryland, and Virginia area and beyond. This year, we’re bringing together public servants, civic technologists, designers, and advocates from government and civil society to connect, reflect, and focus on the future of design for the public interest. The conference took a pause in 2020 due to the covid-19 pandemic, and returned in fall of 2025. As a graphic designer, I worked alongside members of the AIGA DC board and marketing team to create digital and print assets that would help re-launch the conference and recreate a fitting branding guidelines for the event. Assets created include event signage, attendee invite badges, speaker presentations, and social media posts (LinkedIn, BlueSky, Instagram).
AIGA DC CreateAThon 2024
Communication, Branding Design, Campaign Management:
CreateAthon DC 2024 occurred on November 16-17 at Steampunk’s creative studio in McLean, VA. During this 24-hour time period, 25 local creatives and strategists completed pro bono projects for 5 local nonprofits. My team of 5 was assigned to work on the rebranding campaign for
CIVIC TECH DC, developing a comprehensive communication and rebranding strategy to enhance the organization’s brand identity and public perception. Our final deliverables include a newly designed logo comaptible with web, print, and socials, a new landing page with a clear CTA for their website, a mockup of merchandise to promote the organization, sample email marketing templates to share with subscribers, and a social media strategy to reach a broader audience. This was fun and collaborative project, with a quick turnaround time. A link to the final portfolio can be found below.
Final Presentation. POLITICO
Event Programming, Social media ads, Email Marketing:
At POLITICO's Live Event team, I was tasked with creating and designing event advertisements for web and print to be used for Lockheed Martin's "AMERICAN'S DEFENSE STRATEGY" event programming. Taking inspiration form previous POLITICO live events, I made note of typography, colors, and motifs that will inform the design choices I made, leading to a clear and cohesive advertisement. Given the theme of global defense, I approached this challenge with a duotone color palette combined with graphic imagery from Lockheed Martin's product catalogue. The ads also emphasize a clear CTAs tailored for both light and dark mobile settings. The images below show the completed designs versions displayed on the POLITICO website, banners, and the live event stage backdrop.
Far far away, behind the word mountains, far from the countries Vokalia and Consonantia, there live the blind texts. Separated they live in Bookmarksgrove right at the coast of the Semantics, a large language ocean. A small river named Duden flows by their place and supplies it with the necessary regelialia. It is a paradisematic country, in which roasted parts of sentences fly into your mouth.

MASS Design Group
Filmmaking, Photography, Creative Direction, Post-Production, Content Curation, Event Production:
"Making The Embrace" was an exhibit hosted by the MASS Design Group's Boston studio, showcasing the work behind ehe Embrace memorial on Boston Common from its early design stages through construction and completion. My role was to document all these events and develop them into digital media (consisting of graphics, photographs, and short-form videos from interviews I conducted of the artist, designers, and Boston locals) utilizing Adobe Photoshop for editing graphics and photos, and Davinci Resolve for production of the videos. These were displayed in the exhibit as well as used for marketing content on website and social media platforms. I collaborated with designers and shop managers to develop floor plans that would ensure effective and accessible viewing of the exhibit by the general public. Shown here are photos of the designed hero-graphic for the exhibition marketing and the completed exhibition.
